For years, the only time a casket or urn was purchased was at the 'time of need'.  At this emotional time, the last thing on your mind is cost. 

 Up until a few years ago, there was no alternative but to purchase from the funeral home.  Times have changed, with the help of the Federal Trade Commission, and in 1999, Schneider's Flowers saw a need for affordable . According to the Federal Trade Commission the average funeral can cost $10,000 and in many cases more. A casket often is the single most expensive item you'll buy if you plan a "traditional", full-service funeral. Caskets vary widely in style and price, and are sold primarily for their visual appeal. Until recent years and changes, caskets have been sold only by funeral homes. Because of the need and the rising cost the FTC has changed previous "Funeral Rule" to allow third party vendors to sell caskets and urns; thus allowing the consumer to be aware of itemized funeral costs. Although funeral planning is not as exciting as recieving flowers, we understand your position and are here to help you in your time of need.
